Collabro Expands into the Asia-Pacific Region
October 2011
Collabro is pleased to announce the opening of offices in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and in Perth, Western Australia. The two office openings mark Collabro’s first move to establish an overseas presence to support our international customers.
The Kuala Lumpur office will be run by Tom Kennedy with support from two members of staff whilst the Perth office will be headed up by Nigel Bull who will lead a team of four.
Janice Grant-Shaw, managing director at Collabro, said:
“Having launched Collabro in Aberdeen in 2004, we have grown an impressive client base that includes some of the key operators in the oil and gas market. One of our main objectives for this year was to expand our share of the overseas market and we felt that the most efficient way to achieve this was by establishing an international presence on the ground so that our business is more readily accessible to potential customers.
The Asia Pacific region is a thriving hub of activity for the energy market and it presents a fantastic opportunity for Collabro to make its software products and services available to a wider audience. Whilst the office in KL is ideally positioned to service clients in the Middle East and Asia, our base in Perth will target the country’s mining operators and its oil and gas sector.
This is an exciting time for Collabro and we are very much looking forward to growing the two new subsidiaries to achieve the same level of success that our UK-based business has already gained.”
