Overview
Collabro's Tracker Managed Service makes DTI compliance simple and accurate for companies in the UK oil sector.
Tracker is an internet-based managed service which assists oil and gas operators and service companies to fulfil their UK DTI (Department of Trade and Industry) environmental statutory reporting obligations.
Using Tracker, companies can submit their statutory environmental returns directly to EEMS (Environmental Emissions Monitoring System, the DTI environmental database), and also manage and analyse their environmental information. This helps to reduce the risk to the company of any environmental non-compliance.
Collabro has identified areas of environmental information management which are common to all companies and provides these as part of the Tracker managed service. This reduces the time that companies must spend verifying information.
A good example of managing common data is our Tracker Chemicals service. Under current legislation operators are responsible for ensuring that all chemicals used are in compliance with approved PON15 permits and the current approved Cefas list. Tracker Chemicals maintains a synchronised list of chemicals used by each company (from the PON15 permits and variations) which are automatically compared against the latest Cefas list. The company is warned of any changes in the Cefas list which they need to act upon.
